Plans must be activated and used within 180 days of purchase. Data or validity cannot be added after purchase. That is the price BambooSIM lists for a 30GB, 30-day UK travel eSIM, and it is the figure to set against your own trip. [BambooSIM](/referrals/bamboosim) sells prepaid data plans for 90+ countries, and the TopReferrals link opens its travel eSIM page directly. Plans start at US$5.95 for most of Europe. The travel eSIM page shows no discount, so the prices below are the ones you pay. ## What you get, in numbers | Plan on BambooSIM's page | Price | |---|---| | Europe, single country (e.g. France, Spain, Italy), from | US$5.95 | | Thailand, from | US$5.99 | | Japan, from | US$8.95 | | USA, from | US$7.99 | | UK 30GB / 30 days | US$17.99 | | UK 60GB / 30 days | US$23.99 | | UK 200GB / 30 days | US$39.99 | Read the table as listed prices. The 20% bonus points are a separate referral reward, and they do not come through the TopReferrals link. ## How the reward lands Open https://topreferrals.co.uk/go/bamboosim and choose your destination. Pick a data plan, check out, and BambooSIM emails your QR code. Install it on Wi-Fi when you are ready to use it, because validity may start at install. The 20% bonus points are for new customers who register with a referral code and buy their first new eSIM within 7 days of registering. The TopReferrals link does not carry that code, so you add it yourself during registration. Points are awarded as a data voucher, and that voucher expires 12 months after it is awarded. BambooSIM doesn't say when the voucher is awarded. Not every country or product is eligible for the referral promotion. Data or validity cannot be added after purchase. The UK page gives you 180 days from purchase to activate and use a plan. A UK plan set up outside the UK can begin its clock straight away. ## What a BambooSIM travel eSIM actually does A BambooSIM travel eSIM is prepaid mobile data for trips to more than 90 countries. You buy a plan, receive a QR code by email, and scan it on a compatible phone. Nothing is swapped in the SIM tray, so your home SIM stays put. No code is needed to reach these prices. Plans start from US$5.95 for most of Europe, such as France, Spain and Italy. Thailand and South Korea start from US$5.99. Japan and Australia start from US$8.95, and the USA and China start from US$7.99. ## Plans, sizes and timing UK plans come in clear sizes. A 30GB plan lasting 30 days costs US$17.99. A 60GB plan for 30 days costs US$23.99, and a 200GB plan for 30 days costs US$39.99. Activate and use each plan within 180 days of buying it. Hold off installing the QR code until you need data, because validity can begin at install. Installing it outside the UK can start the validity clock at once. ## Referral bonus, stated plainly New customers can earn a 20% bonus in points through BambooSIM's own referral scheme. Sign up using a referral code, then buy your first new eSIM within 7 days. The TopReferrals link opens the travel eSIM pages, where no discount is shown, and the bonus is not part of that link. ## This Christmas at BambooSIM BambooSIM suits a traveller with an eSIM-compatible phone who is heading abroad over the festive period. Because the QR code arrives by email straight after checkout, it can work as a last-minute present. ## The fine print, in plain words Anyone can buy a BambooSIM plan. The referral bonus is narrower. It rewards new customers who sign up with a referral code and purchase a first eSIM within 7 days, giving 20% bonus points. That bonus sits outside the TopReferrals link. According to the UK page, you have 180 days from purchase to activate and use a plan. Referral bonus data vouchers run out 12 months after they are awarded. Not every country or product qualifies for the referral promotion. Data or validity cannot be added after purchase. Installing a UK eSIM abroad can start its validity immediately, so install on Wi-Fi only when you are ready to use it. BambooSIM doesn't say how refunds work for digital plans. Its terms of service set out the rest. The TopReferrals link opens the travel eSIM page: https://topreferrals.co.uk/go/bamboosim. ## Promo codes, coupons and vouchers - **"bamboosim discount code"**: the travel eSIM page shows no discount, and the TopReferrals link needs no code. - **"bamboo sim referral code"**: the referral bonus gives 20% bonus points on a first eSIM bought within 7 days of registering with a referral code. - **"bamboo sim promo code"**: the travel eSIM page shows no promo code, and the TopReferrals link needs no code. - **"bamboosim esim"**: plans are sold by destination, from US$5.95 for most of Europe. ## Who gets the most out of it - **Europe-bound travellers**: plans start at US$5.95 for most of Europe, including France, Spain and Italy. - **UK visitors**: a 30GB plan for 30 days costs US$17.99, 60GB costs US$23.99 and 200GB costs US$39.99. - **Japan and US trips**: Japan plans start at US$8.95 and USA plans at US$7.99. - **New customers using a referral code**: a first eSIM bought within 7 days of registering earns 20% bonus points. ## How TopReferrals checked this TopReferrals read four BambooSIM pages on 17 October 2026. Destination prices came from the Travel eSIM page at bamboosim.com/en/travel-esims. The UK plan sizes and prices came from the United Kingdom page in the same section. The United Kingdom page lists 30GB, 60GB and 200GB plans, each valid for 30 days. Those pages show prices in US$, so this section keeps that currency. The referral details came from the support article titled "Do you have an affiliate or referral program". That article sets out the 20% bonus points, which reach people who sign up using a referral code. The bonus is separate from the TopReferrals link. The expiry rules, validity limits and exclusions came from the Terms of Service page under policies. The offer shown is the one BambooSIM lists for new UK customers. TopReferrals re-checks it on the date shown at the top of this page, and the brand's own pages show the current wording. Each figure on this page matches the brand's own listing on the date above.
