## Four plans, two prices each

Chattr keeps its range short: three data plans and one unlimited plan, each with unlimited UK calls and texts. The code changes the first month; the plan price applies after that.

## A price that falls instead of rising

Chattr's Freedom One is priced to fall rather than rise. After the standard £15, it moves to a **£14 loyalty price** and then to a **£13 VIP price from month 12**, where it stays.

Chattr's pages give two slightly different timetables. The homepage shows £15 for months 1 to 5 and £14 from month 6; the Parents Hub shows £15 for months 1 to 6 and £14 from month 7. Both put the £13 price at month 12. The direction is the same on either schedule: down.

## Twelve payments on unlimited data

A monthly price only means something next to the alternatives. Adding up the first 12 payments on each network's unlimited plan, at the prices published on each network's own site in September 2026:

Chattr's figure is £3.75, then the £15, £14 and £13 prices: £160.75 on the homepage timetable, £161.75 on the Parents Hub one. Lyca Mobile's 24-month contract comes closest at £162, but it costs £216 in year two against Chattr's £156, and Chattr asks for no contract. ## Who is behind Chattr

Chattr is run by **Kashcow Ltd**, a company registered in England under company number 08889583 at 189 Chapel Street, Salford. It is an online-only brand that calls itself a new company dedicated to the best prices possible, with customer care answered by people.

The network side is shared. Chattr sells plans on **O2** and on **Vodafone**; its FAQ explains that the contract is with Chattr but customers can sit on different networks, so the SIM card may carry either name. Chattr quotes **99% 4G and 5G UK coverage**, and O2-network customers receive **O2 Priority**, with its high-street discounts, prize draws and priority tickets.

## Ordering and activating

The order takes a few minutes and runs entirely online:

1. From https://topreferrals.co.uk/go/chattr, pick a plan and tap **Get Your SIM**.
2. Create your account. Chattr asks you to confirm you are 18 or over and to choose your phone's make and model — it sends an **eSIM by default** and uses the model to check compatibility.
3. Enter **HONEST75** at checkout and pay the reduced first month.
4. Activate. An eSIM arrives as a QR code; a physical SIM usually takes one to three days. Scan the QR code, log in and enter the last four digits of the SIM serial number.

Your next payment falls **one month plus three days** after the order, which leaves time for delivery and activation before the first full month begins. Your phone needs to be unlocked; Chattr's FAQ puts the cost of unlocking a phone at a retailer at around £10 to £15.

## Safeguards on the bill

Three rules in Chattr's terms keep costs predictable:

- **A £5 bill limit** is on every account by default, so charges outside the plan stop at £5 unless you add a bolt-on.
- **No contract.** Turn off auto-renew and the plan ends at the close of the current month, with no exit fee.
- **Fourteen days to change your mind.** Cancel within 14 days of activation and Chattr refunds the plan less the days used.

Upgrading takes effect straight away, with a pro-rata charge on the next bill; a move to a smaller plan needs 30 days' notice. Bolt-ons are managed from the SIMs and plans section of the account.

## Keeping or moving your number

To bring a number across, text PAC to 65075 on your current network and add the PAC when you activate. Chattr moves numbers within one working day, Monday to Friday. Leaving works the same way in reverse: email Chattr for a PAC, which it issues within one working day.

## Travelling with Chattr

Chattr's plans **roam like at home in 43 destinations**. That covers every EU country — including the Canary Islands, Madeira, the Balearics and France's overseas departments — plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein, and a second zone of Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man, the Faroe Islands, San Marino and Switzerland. Calls and texts to UK numbers, calls within the zone and incoming calls are included; data abroad sits under a fair-use policy, and calls from the UK to international numbers are charged separately.

Chattr has also announced **Chattr Travel**, a travel eSIM priced from £2.50 for more than 200 countries, with 25% of its profits going to nature. On 23 September 2026 it was listed as coming soon.

## Buying for a child

Chattr's Parents Hub argues that unlimited data is the plan that prevents bill shock, and backs it with its own figures per hour of use: roughly **600MB for gaming**, **1GB for TikTok**, **1.5GB for YouTube** and **3GB for video streaming**. An hour a day of any of them outgrows the 6GB plan within a month, and an hour of TikTok, YouTube or streaming outgrows 25GB. With the account holder aged 18 or over, a parent orders the SIM; Freedom One, the £5 bill limit and the absence of a contract then do the work.
