# E-Bikes, Scooters & Mobility

> Ride-credit referrals for UK e-bike and e-scooter operators — free riding for new riders.

Shared transport in UK cities now means a dockless e-bike or a rental e-scooter, and the three operators with live referrals score very differently. Forest, the London-only B Corp, is the most generous at £10 of free riding each side — but the credit is London-bound and expires in seven days. Lime runs the widest network, across London plus Greater Manchester, Oxford, Nottingham, Milton Keynes and, from 1 April 2026, seven West Midlands cities, paying £4 each side on a 60-day window. Voi covers the most towns outside London — roughly two-thirds of England's e-scooter trials — paying the joiner £2.50 and the referrer £5. Rental e-scooters are legal only through approved trial operators (the DfT trial runs to May 2028) and need a provisional licence; e-bikes need neither.
