Amazon's memberships reward a new joiner with free time rather than cash, and the length of that free time is the whole offer. A new Prime member gets 30 days of every Prime benefit, then pays £8.99 a month or £95 a year; a student or anyone aged 18 to 24 gets six months, then half price at £4.49.
