What you get

£5 in Zilch Rewards — and no purchase is required to earn it.

That last part makes this the odd one out in the pay-later category. Klarna wants three card transactions. Clearpay wants a £50 basket. Zilch releases its reward for finishing the sign-up itself: register through the link, verify your identity, get the card issued.

It is the easiest reward in this directory to claim, and the smallest.

The 30-day clock

Zilch calls them the referral tasks: any steps required to be issued a Zilch card, identity verification included, completed within 30 calendar days of registering.

So the path is register → verify → approved and card issued. Stopping at the identity check pays nothing, and an application that is not approved pays nothing either.

All or nothing

A clause worth reading before you invite anyone yourself. Zilch requires both parties to meet all the criteria. If either of you does not — or only partly does — neither receives Rewards. There is no partial payout.

The date sets the amount

Zilch fixes the reward by the date the new customer registers, not the date the link was shared. If the figure moves in between, the one in force at registration applies.

That distinction matters on this page. The £5 you receive is the standing joiner rate. The referrer's side currently shows £15 under a promotion ending at midday on 19 October 2026 — a dated offer, named as such here rather than presented as permanent.
