What does a new GAIL's app member actually receive?
A voucher for a complimentary loaf of your choice (exclusions apply) or a regular barista-made drink — coffee, tea, hot chocolate, matcha, chai or an iced drink, with dairy-free milk included at no extra charge. GAIL's requires it to be redeemed alongside a paid transaction as part of your first order, so treat it as money off a first visit rather than a standalone freebie.
Do food loyalty referrals expire faster than cash ones?
Generally yes. GAIL's gives you two months from issue and cannot reinstate an expired code, where a fintech bonus usually sits in an account indefinitely once paid. If you sign up for a food app referral, plan the visit in the same month rather than filing it away.
Can I use a bakery welcome voucher on a delivery order?
Not with GAIL's — its terms restrict redemption to bakery locations and exclude website orders. Loyalty stamps are more flexible and can be earned online and through Deliveroo, but the welcome voucher itself needs you to be standing in a shop.
