Order before 9pm Monday to Thursday, before 5.30pm on Friday, or before 2pm on Saturday for Sunday delivery. Sunday orders must come before 5pm. Addresses in Northern Ireland or the Highlands follow a two-day timescale. Delivery is also subject to stock and successful network and identity checks, Fonehouse says. Choose a phone on a 24-month contract and you pay an upfront amount, then a monthly fee. Delivery is free and next day, seven days a week. Here is what the figures look like.

The monthly price goes up during the contract. The Galaxy A17 rises to £15.30 from 1 April 2027 and £17.60 from 1 April 2028. The iPhone 17 rises to £47.30 from April 2027 and £49.60 from April 2028.

SIM-only deals and the cashback on top

Already have a phone? A SIM-only deal skips the handset cost altogether. The 60GB 5G plan costs £0 upfront and £11 a month over 24 months, with unlimited minutes and texts. The price rises to £13.50, then £16. The total is £204, and you also get £120 cashback.

Prefer less data? The 8GB plan is £8 a month, rising to £9.90, then £11.80. The total is £212.60, plus £25 cashback. Prefer a monthly rolling plan? The 6GB deal runs one month at a time for £6 a month, with £0 upfront.

This Christmas at Fonehouse

Ordering for the holidays? Order before 2pm on 24 December and Fonehouse says the delivery arrives by 27 December. Order after 2pm on 24 December, or have a delivery due on 25 or 26 December, and it arrives on 28 December.

For gifts, a SIM-free Galaxy A17 from £199 or an iPhone 17 256GB at £899 makes a practical present for family. A contract needs a credit check on the person who holds it, so the contract works as a gift only when the recipient signs up themselves. SIM-only deals with cashback suit anyone who already has a phone.

Monthly prices can change during a contract. The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G 128GB deal starts at £13 a month, rising to £15.30 from 1 April 2027 and £17.60 from 1 April 2028.
