What Lebara's plans actually include
Lebara is a UK mobile network that runs on Vodafone's network. It sells SIM-only plans, so you bring your own unlocked phone. Here is what each 30-day plan carries at the usual price:
- 5GB, £5: 1,000 UK minutes and texts, plus 100 international minutes.
- 30GB, £10: unlimited UK minutes and texts, plus 100 international minutes. Lebara marks it "Great Value".
- 50GB, £15: 500 international minutes.
- 100GB, £20: unlimited international minutes.
- Unlimited Data, £25: 100 international minutes.
- Unlimited Plus, £30: unlimited international minutes.
Roaming, terms and phones
Lebara says there are no roaming charges in the EU (up to 30GB) and in India. A roaming add-on for places beyond the EU/EEA or India starts at £5.
The 30-day plans roll on with no contract. If you prefer a longer term, the 12-Month Plan tab on Lebara's page is labelled "10% off" against the 30-day price. Both terms take a new SIM or eSIM, so any unlocked phone works.
