That is the whole offer on Gymshark's refer-a-friend scheme, and it is the cleanest discount a new customer can get: no expired coupon to test, no code for another country, just Gymshark issuing £10 to your email address when you arrive through the TopReferrals link. Gymshark advertises the scheme itself: "Get £10 off when you refer a friend" runs in the banner across the top of its UK store, beside its delivery and student offers.

Mention Me is a London company that runs referral programmes for retailers, and it handles Gymshark's: it processes your email for the referral and sends the reward messages.

Gymshark's terms, in plain English

• New customers only. If you have ordered from Gymshark before, the reward will not apply.
• 18 or over. Both the person sharing and the person joining must be adults.
• £50 minimum. The £10 needs a first order of at least £50.
• Two months. The reward expires two months after it is issued.
• One code per order. It cannot be stacked with another discount code.
• Refunds cancel it. If you request a refund on the order where you used the £10, Gymshark takes the reward back.

Five ways people lose the £10

1. Ordering under £50. The reward only unlocks at £50, so a single pair of socks will not trigger it.
2. Using an email Gymshark already knows. The terms require a customer who has never ordered before, under any email address.
3. Adding a second code. Pasting a student or email code alongside it means only one discount survives.
4. Leaving it too long. Two months after issue, the reward lapses.
5. Returning the order. A refund on the order where the £10 was used cancels the reward.

The other side of the referral

The person who shares a Gymshark link earns £10 off their next £50+ order each time a new customer buys. Gymshark caps that at 25 rewards, or £1,500 of rewards, in any 12 months, and a sharer's link can be shared for three months from when they accept the offer. The referrer's reward also lasts two months. None of that changes what you receive: your £10 is the same either way.

Gymshark promotes three savings on its UK store, and because only one discount applies per order, the choice matters:

• An extra 20% for students: the best rate for verified students on anything over £50.
