How the reward lands

The route is short. Five actions get you from the TopReferrals link to a finished order.

1. Open Your Co-op through the TopReferrals link.
2. Pick a SIM plan, or a broadband package after entering your postcode.
3. Join as a member. Joining is free, and you receive a Membership Number.
4. Type that number in at the checkout. Your Co-op's pages say to "Use your Membership Number" there.

The free first month belongs to the member offer, so it starts with the order itself. The welcome reward follows the plan you chose. Your Co-op doesn't say how the reward is paid, or when it arrives. The plan pages give the amount for each plan, and that is the figure used on this page.

What Your Co-op broadband actually does

Your Co-op is a member-owned co-operative. It is part of Central England Co-operative, and it sells broadband on fixed prices. The contract runs 24 months, and the price does not rise inside it. That suits a household that wants one bill it can plan around.

• Remote Professional: 66.5 Mbps at £35 a month.

SIM-only plans in plain words

The mobile side is flexible. Every SIM plan rolls over each 30 days, so you are not tied in for a long contract. Five sizes are listed, from 3GB to Unlimited data. The monthly price rises from £8 to £24 across the range.

The welcome reward rises with it. Pick the 3GB plan and £5 is attached. Pick Unlimited data and £25 is attached. The middle plans sit between: £10 on 10GB, £15 on 30GB and £20 on 100GB.

If you add more SIMs to the same membership, each additional SIM gets 10% off. A family with several phones can use that. Members can also earn £20 for each friend they refer, which Your Co-op describes as a bill credit for existing customers.
